An unexpected romance blooms when a young man returns home for his father's funeral. This is the kind of movie you should see in a sunny afternoon after a little walk at seaside, and feel the brezze of the wind. It's a warm, healing, personal, and sweet movie with some sense of humor. It made me laugh and cry at the same time. I love the tenderness of this movie.
Yes, we are answering "I'm fine" with a formulated smile on our faces all the time. Like "I am sorry I lie to you, but what can you do if I insist to say I am fine". Showing the different sides of combination "traditional" and modern American values gives us wider mind to love other people, starting from our family. We don't know life enough yet. But no matter how bad things get in your life, you should never give up. You can cry or laugh, but don't give it up. And don't be a sub of somebody else.

Susan Sarandon is so great, as always. Kirsten Dunst is a sweet, hometown American girl. Bloom has a cute face! I have to admit. hehe....
Nashville, once there for a good friend. Beautiful city! I miss a typical, small American town. Never been to Kentucky yet. Maybe I should visit Elizabethtown next time. And visit The Survivor Tree in Oklahoma City. And I like trees.
"Free spirit", "Respect", "Discipline" is equally important in life. I think.
